"Patient of one" has been a term used widely in the last few years and it has only gained traction as technology and AI continues to add additional touchpoints to engage with patient communities. In fact, better patient engagement has been directly tied to better health outcomes. Patients are dealing with a number of challenges with today’s healthcare system, including difficulty navigating their day-to-day care, health disparities, poor communication with their providers, and lack of access to important information in order to correctly follow health plans, leading to decreased satisfaction and engagement.
